Cooked Just Right: Art Exhibition

randall

This past November I was thrilled to have my first solo show, Cooked Just Right, in my hometown of Encinitas, CA at Said Space Gallery. Brent and Annika who own and run the gallery were kind enough to open up the space for me to have a residency for a few weeks to make a whole new body of work for the installation. Love you guys! You rule. All of the paintings were done on various woods with acrylic paint and acrylic inks. I also would like to thank a few of my good friends who helped me along the way to make the show become a reality. Thanks to Evan Schell of Slippery Saltwater Chronicles for documenting. Also to the other sharp shooters A-aron Regan, John Brodie, and Paul Nett. Mahalo to Jon Wegener for crafting me some beautiful pelownia creations to paint on. To Tyler Mars and Moonage Food Co, Sean Tully at Forward Screen Printing for the beautiful silk screen posters, to Chris Del Moro and Jason Baffa at Ziobaffa Wines, to Rust for all his help with the installation, to Shad and the crew at Chrome Digital for always coming through at the last minute, to Randall Christopher for the endless amount of energy and effort to help this whole process from start to finish. Couldn’t have done it without you. Mahalo mahalo mahalo. And last but not least to my lovely wife for the last minute editing advice. You were right as always. Thanks to everyone who came to the openings with their smiles and laughs.
